SVG is an opensource vector graphics standard developed by the W3C. SVG is text based (with XML syntax) and thus it can easily be parsed, read an edited. The Perl SVG module enables creating and manipulating SVG data. In this talk I will give a brief overview of this module, followed by several examples of graphical applications and show a more in-depth demonstration implementing a complex tree-creating algorithm.
